Discussion 8:00pm on Monday July 3 at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/2272006912 Meeting ID: 227 200 6912
Notes:
During the discussion someone mentioned they read somewhere that it was based on a true story, which was surprising and seemed unlikely. In the meeting I looked that up and there were two sites on the internet with long detailed articles about how the Yemeni government really had attempted such a salmon program. After the meeting I determined though these articles were complete nonsense on site that were AI generated and designed to trick search engines and steal internet search traffic. This is becoming a problem on many topics where high ranked search results on very specific questions lead to reasonable looking AI generated scam sites filled with misinformation and nonsense in detailed articles complete with fake citations. I apologize for getting taken in by the scam during the meeting. Everything in the movie is fictional and is not based on any true story.
